Monday, April 22, 2019Abby was close friends with my sister Marianne, whom she had met while she was a 12-college exchange student at Dartmouth in the 1980s. Years later, I ended up re-meeting Abby when I was living in Washington, DC and we began a very nice friendship that included our love of dogs, gardening, shopping, and eating out. I lost contact with Abby when I left DC in 2012, but was proud of her work with refugees, immigration issues, and human rights. Last I heard she obtained a judgeship. So proud of this woman. So sad to know she has passed.

Thursday, January 10, 2019I too was very saddened to hear of Abby's passing. I met Abby at the very start of my legal career helping and representing immigrants and refugees. In the twenty-six years since, we would cross paths from time-to-time and catch up on what each of us was doing. I always looked forward to seeing her. I also would hear about whatever interesting project Abby was up to through mutual friends and she was always doing something incredible. When she returned to New England and then was at the Asylum Office, I had the pleasure of running into her again and having a short catch-up. I was very pleased that she would be a more regular part of my life again, so it's all the more tragic for me that she has passed away so soon. Abby did some truly amazing work and this world is without a doubt a much better and richer place for having had Abby in it and so much poorer with her passing. My deep and sincere sympathies go out to her family and all of her very close friends and colleagues.

Monday, January 7, 2019I was shocked to hear of Abby's passing. I met Abby working with the Immigration Community in Rhode Island through the Learning Community in Central Falls. She was very passionate about immigrants' rights. She was a wonderful person full of life. Her passing is a great loss to her family, for sure, but also to the immigrant community in RI and MA. My deepest condolences to her family. Deborah S. Gonzalez, Director of the Immigration Clinic Roger Williams University School of Law.

Friday, December 28, 2018Dear Friends and Family of Abby, I ilterally stopped in my track hearing the news. No, I said. Someone so vital and, as she always kidded me, is younger than me going into that final rest, ahead of me?? This can't be real. But, dearest Abby, it is real and I am so sorry to see such a great champion of human rights, of care for the most vulnerable leaving right now. You know the challenges today and we need courageous and committed people like you, on the Bench. For the family -- Abby and I met in 2005 and helped launch a project to address sexual exploitation and abuse of people,in countries around the world, who we were supposedly there to help. In her truly irrepressible way, she pushed me to work with her to make this happen; I wasn't sure we could get others to agree but she was sure. So many memories since then. Please do let me know when you have details for the memorial service. I would dearly love to attend. Abby -- may God's eternal light shine on you. In peace, Daisy Francis

Friday, December 21, 2018We lost touch as often happens long after high school; nonetheless, I can still hear your infectious laugh and still remember how you could light up a room. I still have the invite in my scrapbook to Wheaton's mixer (as they used to call them in the dark pre-coed ages) "The Mad Hatter" which was so much fun and I'm blown away by all you accomplished professionally. Rest in Peace on that "third beach in the sky." Jim Connell, RHS '77

Thursday, December 20, 2018I got to know you over a couple of weeks when we shared an office when we were both working in New Jersey last year. You were such a wonderful person to be in a room with. You gave me a lot of great career advice and things to think about. I know you left a tremendous legacy in all you accomplished. I hope you have found rest, friend. My thoughts with the family in the wake of your loss.

Thursday, December 20, 2018My dearest Abby! How I wish I had tried harder to reach you after I learned that you were working for Sue Raufer, my former boss! I hope that you are in a wonderful place now – with no pain and no sorrow. We had some wonderful times together in New York and I will always remember your kindness and your willingness to push the edge to help those who needed you. I can never forget our 2 Afghan boy teenagers who had just gotten to know America a little, but you had to teach them how to behave properly in Immigration Court before an Immigration Judge! You did this and we won the case! I miss your kindness and your availability and your warmth. I know the Lord remembers all the important and wonderful things you did for people who came to you in their desperate time. I miss you Abby, and I hope you will be content in Heaven, where you belong! Love, Estelle

Wednesday, December 19, 2018I learned of the passing of Abigail with utmost sadness. Abigail was a kind, wonderful and tireless advocate of children’s affairs in a very hostile world. She elevated the concerns of minors as an immigration judge at a critical time in history especially for migrant children who are being displaced by violence and wars in many places in this world. As an immigration attorney, I had the pleasure of benefiting from her indelible wisdom on the plight of these minors and how to best advocate for them. There’s going to be a deeply felt void in Abigail’s tireless efforts of giving hope especially to destitute children in an increasingly hostile world! We will dearly miss you Judge Price! You made an unforgettable mark in your efforts of making this world a better place especially for our children, and for this, we are eternally thankful!

Tuesday, December 18, 2018I worked with Abby at the International Rescue Committee and I am very saddened to hear of her passing. In addition to her sense of humor and ability to make delicious coffee, l will always cherish and celebrate Abby as someone who made time for her friends, despite the mountains of work she took on, and for fierce protection of refugee rights. She enriched the world and the lives of her friends. I would like to send her family and loved ones my deepest condolences. I would also like to request information about the memorial service in the spring (as noted in Abby's obituary). Best regards, Allison Anderson
