Obituary of Bernard S. Mignogna

Bernard S. Mignogna known to all as “Benny” passed away peacefully Saturday, November 14, 2020 with his wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Mary L. Mignogna. Ben was a native Newporter born on July 20, 1955. And the son of the late Teresa and Bernard Mignogna. Besides his wife he survived by his brother Raymond T. Mignogna. 

He worked for Safeway, Waste Management and the Redwood Library before he retired. Benny had a passion and gift for auto body repair and who became an Auto Body expert, and restored vans and cars. After retirement he worked part time at Aardvark Antiques. He also volunteered at the James L. Maher Center Annual picnic every year.

Ben was also excellent with renovations, always talented working with his hands and renovated his home, the family homestead to a beautiful home that is today.  His yard and home was his pride and joy. He touched the lives of so many people in so many different ways he was thoughtful and loving and will be greatly missed by all whom had loved him.
