Just recently heard of Barbara’s passing
I didn’t know she wasn’t feeling well
I am so sorry and very sad to hear of her loss
I feel lucky and blessed to have reunited with her a few years ago
She was a very kind high school friend
whom I hadn’t seen in many years
I’ll never forget the times we spent painting
She was an excellent painter
I remember how she loved horses
She also loved nature and being outdoors
I am so happy to have shared a part of her life
I will never forget her❤️

I am so very sorry for your loss Joe. Having lost my wife 20 years ago this past Christmas, I know all too well the pain you must be feeling. Susan enjoyed having Barbara over for tea and I'd go and fire up the heater so they could socially distance outside. Charlotte the cat would always join Barbara and Susan inside and look forward to Barbara's loving her up. These times will be forever missed.
I hope this Bible verse gives you the comfort that it gave me many years ago: John 11:25–26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Barbara had a kind and generous spirit. I was lucky to have her as a loving friend for many years. We had many things in common and both had a love for Tea and Cats. Barbara had the quality of sharing in your own personal joys in life just because it made you happy. She is certainly an Angel now and watching over all her loved ones who miss her so. Rest In Peace, my Beautiful Friend.

Barbara. Friend of my heart.
We met as babies. Our fathers were business partners. We became next door neighbors and best friends. We did everything together. After my dad had to leave the business for health reasons and we moved to Cumberland, Barbara and I continued our friendship. As fourth graders, we had to enlist our parents to drive us to one another’s house for weekend visits. Thankfully, our parents were supportive. We rode Barbara’s Appaloosa, Cocoa around the neighborhood and at St. Andrew’s field. We giggled at our tea parties and spat tea across the table with uncontrollable laughter. A burning candle was always present at our “grown up” tea parties. Barbara forgave me for my childhood lapses in kindness.
As adults, and living two thousand miles apart for decades, our friendship endured. Although, we did not see one another very often, we always remained in touch. Barbara’s talent as an artist was exceptional. She created beauty, whether the medium was clay, paints, fabric, or plants. I enjoyed the photos she sent of the latest sculpting piece she was working on and cherished the finished pieces she generously gifted to me.
I admired Barbara’s talents, her kindness, her thoughtfulness, and her loving ways. My life has been enriched because of her friendship. It was an honor and privilege to know her. She will always remain friend of my heart.
